They make you cut the hoses and rubber surround to length instead of cutting them for you and the instructions they provide aren’t even correct. I had to re-cut the hoses myself. Instead of using one solid pipe, they poorly weld together 3 pieces of pipe that could’ve been made from 1. The heat shields don’t seem like they’re great at blocking off the hot air from the engine bay and they have cracks that also could’ve been easily welded. The driver side heat shield also hits the ac line so I’ll need to keep an eye on that. None of the bolts seem to line up great. Finish on the pipes looks ok definitely not a $350 finish though. I bought this because my stock airboxs were braking and needed replacement but now I wish I had went with AEM or maybe something a little bit more expensive. I expected better quality from K&N Especially considering, I believed them to be one of the best friends when it came to intakes but now I realize that’s simply not true but they function. Sounds decent. Can’t feel a difference in power but if you wanna hear the intake, this is one way to do it.
