It may be ok for certain applications but only if you need to have an approximate 1” location from where you are drilling. Unfortunately for us it was not the right application. I requested to return the VERY EXPENSIVE item and they said No after 30 days?? That is less than major box stores that take it even 90 days or more. It is brand new and has not been used. We didn’t try to return the screws (which now we can’t use either) only the drill.
