The formulation is water based and so is safe to use in all environments, as it has a very low odour, is VOC-free and is non-toxic. Our Wood Stain is specially formulated to evenly dye wood, ensuring equal and even colour penetration throughout. The stain dries to a natural matt finish in only 10 minutes and has excellent coverage. After staining wood, you should finish the job by sealing the stain in with one of our Wood Waxes or Wood Oils. These will bring out the colour of the stain further, provide additional protection and can be used to alter the finish to either satin or gloss. Obviously you will need to sand the pine down to bare wood before you stain it. Shame about the bottles but stain was good wuality ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Natural oak stain *by E***K on 12 March 2026* Excellent product, whilst it’s a small amount it’s very thin so you don’t use a lot as it covers easier and so goes far, I poured it into a tub and applied with a brush and it didnt go on streaky! Pleased with the colour I would say it’s a caramel colour once on, which pales once dry!
