Review: Sharp! - I only got this to use for sort of a one time use case where we volunteered to cut up a lot of tomatoes for a school event and it worked so great for that. I'd never even used one of these mandoline type cutters before so I really didn't know what to expect. This guy cuts tomatoes at the perfect thickness and about as fast as you can get it done. Make sure and wear the gloves though because it's no joke. There's a review that says it was very sharp and she had to return it because it wasn't safe** A: When I bought this, there were no gloves included so I can’t comment on that. It is very sharp and care needs to be taken when you are changing blades and cleaning it as well. My blades are jammed because I didn't know there was a blade guard and i used the selection dial** A: I did the same thing. *Clearer* instructions or a video would be nice! They should also print "REMOVE" on that little plastic guard. I was able to get it to un-jam by turning the knob with a wrench. Later I realized the knob has this plastic sleeve you're supposed to push in to turn it. It's a little finicky but eventually it started rotating smoothly by pushing in the sleeve. Hope this helps!
