Review: The perfect pair of headphones. - The Sony WH-1000XM4 offers a remarkable harmony of value, performance, and comfort. They are ideal for travel because of their exceptional noise cancellation, which makes it simple to calm crowded cafés, trains, and airplanes. Even though they are high-end over-ear headphones, they are surprisingly light weight and comfortable for extended listening sessions. They are a dependable option whether you're working, commuting, or just lounging because of their superb sound quality, which is rich, detailed, and adaptable enough for almost any genre. The transparency mode, which can sound a little processed in comparison to more recent models, is the only slight disadvantage. This minor complaint, however, does not lessen the overall quality of these headphones. The WH-1000XM4 remain one of the best headphones available due to their price, comfort, and robust feature set.
Review: Great material, sound quality, fit, and connectivity. - Love the quality, the material is soft exterior and over the ear, noise canceling is 9/10, the fit is perfect, connecting is smooth, sounds quality is excellent, and the case is very durable. I use them at home, for school, for the gym and for work.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: For that price of 179, are they fake?**
A: Paid 199 for a refurbished set. It works just like a new set. Wanted black but they only had dark blue, which I really liked. Have had almost 2 months. So far so good

**Q: Does it come with a case??**
A: Yes, comes with a hard shell case

**Q: Are they the same as the $350 pair? Or are they different**
A: They are exactly the same, only difference would be the original box they come in. The case and cables are the same. No issues with them at all not even a scratch.

**Q: do you get a one year Sony waranty with it?**
A: No

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great material, sound quality, fit, and connectivity.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clean Sound, Great Price, and Solid Protection Plan!
*by D***) on March 28, 2025*

Wasn’t expecting these to sound this clean. The bass is definitely there, but it’s not overhyped or muddy — just tight and balanced. Mids and highs are crisp too, which is what I really wanted. Everything comes through nice and clear without getting drowned out. I scored these at nearly half off — crazy deal. And because I saved that much, I had enough left to grab the Protect Plus 3-Year Plan. That covers accidental drops, spills, and even mechanical/electrical breakdowns after the manufacturer warranty ends. If something goes sideways, they repair or replace it — no drama. For headphones I’m using daily, that kind of peace of mind is a no-brainer. Mic quality is surprisingly solid too. I’ve used it for calls, Discord, and meetings — everyone said I came through clear without that muffled or cheap Bluetooth mic sound. Not studio quality, but way better than I expected for this price. They’re lightweight and super comfortable — no clamp fatigue, even after long sessions. I’ve worn these for hours at a time without needing a break. One feature I really like is the ability to stay connected to both my phone and my PC at the same time. No need to keep switching back and forth — it just handles both seamlessly. I can take a call on my phone, then go right back to music or Zoom on my desktop without touching anything. Bluetooth vs wired? Here’s how it works: when you use them over Bluetooth, you get everything — active noise cancelling (ANC), transparency/ambient mode, touch controls, built-in mic, auto on/off, and voice assistant support. But the second you plug in a 3.5mm cable, the headphones switch to passive mode — meaning all of that shuts off. No ANC, no transparency mode, no touch controls, no mic, no auto on/off. You basically just get basic wired audio like old-school headphones. It still works in a pinch, but you're giving up all the smart features. That’s why I mostly roll wireless — it’s just a better experience. Battery life is excellent — I’ve been getting about 40 hours with ANC off, and 30+ hours with it on. It charges back to full in around 2 hours. Plus, it’s got auto on/off when you unfold or fold the headphones, which helps conserve battery and adds to that premium feel. Bottom line — clean sound, smart features, solid mic, long battery life, lightweight and comfy, and backed by a strong warranty. And at nearly 50% off? No regrets. If you see it on sale, jump on it.
