When we removed the lid, it looked like it had become a gel but my husband used a drill with a paint mixer/stirrer tool and it became liquefied again. We applied it to the siding without incident and the color matched the new 5 gallon containers we bought this summer . **Q: we have a heavy dining set and i am worried about scratches after i stain, how does it hold up to heavy chairs moving back and forth?** A: I have a deck/patio furniture set, including a cast iron umbrella base. Lots of use over the last year with no evidence of scratches in the deck. The stain penetrates the wood rather than building a barrier so dragging stuff across the boards won't take it off provided the wood is properly prepared. **Q: can this be used on wooden playsets/swingsets? Is it non-toxic** A: It's used on decks quite a bit and I'm not aware of anybody ever having an issue. It's on my deck and more than one child has crawled around on that without growing a third eye. **Q: What is the warranty on this?** A: I don't know either, but for everyone that says people do not have a warranty, there are many things with a 5-year warranty if not 10-year warranty ## Frequently Bought Together - Ready Seal 505 Exterior Stain and Sealer for Wood, 5-Gallon, Light Oak - Magimate Deck Brush for Applying Stain, 5-inch Paint Brush, Medium Size for Quick Decking, Fence, Walls and Furniture Paint Application, Handle Threaded for Extension Use, Multicolor - Pro Grade, Paint Brushes, 5-Piece, Paint Brush Set: Flat & Angle Brushes for Latex and Oil Paints, Stains, Interior & Exterior Home Improvement --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/30658041-7966104-5-gal-pail-exterior-wood-stain-and-sealer-light](https://www.desertcart.us/products/30658041-7966104-5-gal-pail-exterior-wood-stain-and-sealer-light) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
