From reading about alligator vs crocodile leather, this band may be alligator because I can not see pores which are supposedly visible on croc hides. In any event, the band is lightly padded, flexible and the sewing looks quite good. I recommend and would buy again.Added, after wearing for a couple weeks I like this band even better. Stands out and looks very chic, adds bling vs Alligator.
