I mostly chose these because they have cute gold tips on the eyes, but also because I saw a video about using quality sewing supplies (And I'm familiar with & love Clover). I see a lot of reviews saying these are impossible to thread- The eyes are very small, and this is the style of the needle. It is possible for me, a very young person who doesn't yet experience chronic joint pain, to thread them, although it takes many tries sometimes, especially with cheap silk thread. I find that polyester thread works just fine, but I only use it for basting. These needles I believe are for finer threads than some thick linen and cotton ones. Despite small eyes, these are bendy (one of mine has bent, but I haven't broken any yet) and I feel confident when using them. These are great for beginners (who are patient when threading, lol) as they don't snag the fabric, but are very sharp so take caution. Review: Love - I love these needles! They are perfect for my EPP projects! I am able to take tiny stitches without any problems. Since they are so fine they do bend easily though....to be expected in such fine needle though.
