Only the Kinesis Advantage keyboards use Mechanical Cherry key switches. -ErgoWarehouse-We are however developing a mechanical, fully programmable version of the Freestyle keyboard called the “Freestyle Edge”. As a fast touch typist is this really an issue? And what is the preferred BT dongle?** A: I'm not a fast typist (maybe 30 - 40 wpm), but I've never had any issues with key strokes being delayed in any measurable way. The BT dongle is probably a more important decision (if your PC does not have BT). I use Windows 10, and every so often (every few months) the BT loses the keyboard. I go into settings, turn BT off, on. Rediscovers keyboard, and continue on.
