I am a quilter so I adore good quality cotton fabric: this is made IN JAPAN of thick excellent quality breathable cotton. The very discreet zipper is sturdy and installed with care and skill. VERY Happy with this cover ~ super easy to put on over the futon (I have the futon by this same company) or to remove. Launders just fine ~ it is a bit oversized to account for the usual amount of cotton shrinkage, I prefer to line/hang dry rather than use the dryer. No pilling. The price is excellent ~ I could not buy this many yards of fabric for $50 (and that does not even take into account labor or the cost of the zipper!). Good VALUE. If you are using your Futon daily, you might consider buying two if you can, so you can easily swap then out on wash day. The color is a nice soothing camel color.
