I have to stand on a corner of the mat while I sweep it since it is light weight and it moves around otherwise. But if there is a little weight on the mat, it stays put. Love this rug. I bought this after I got tired of our previous bath rug staying wet. It was grossing me out. This rug is very nice. It's soft and cushiony when you step on it. I don't know how but it works to repel water. It doesn't slip and stays in place. I love the gold color, looks great in our bathroom with all the gold fixtures. I think I will buy another one.
