The developer is like a 40 vol which is beyond aggressive and really unnecessary. For a lot of people, especially people who have already used box dye, have dark hair to start with, or have red tones, that's just a recipe for disaster. So is not having English instructions ANYWHERE on the box! As much as I am fine with having the entire box in Chinese, if it is sold in America, you absolutely have to have American instructions SOMEWHERE. The product has very strong lift and seriously is way more than most people need/should use, so I'd advise using a lot of caution purchasing this. The hard truth is that there are dozens if not hundreds to thousands of products out there with clear instructions that won't burn your hair off, so unfortunately as cute as this packaging is, I'd still be unable to recommend it because the product is not well designed for American users yet.
