Review: Fast router, no issues after two months - I use this with my Hutton CODA56 modem. I have not had any issues with this router at all. My internet is 250mbps up and down, speed tests show me pushing 300, and when I game my ping is usually in the 40s. This is from my desktop pc using a WiFi PCIE adapter. Basically, the router is as fast as an Ethernet cable. The router has multiple antennas which surprisingly are not for looks - the router is in my basement and after initial setup, my smart tv upstairs was showing low signal. I adjusted one of the antennas to point at the living room and my tv. showed full bars. Router setup is easy, and the menu options when you’re logged in to set the name, etc are pretty intuitive. One note about setup is that there is an option to optimize your connectivity. Instead of having a separate 2.4 and 5ghz network like most routers, this router can just have one network to connect to and the router decides based on load, demand, etc which bandwidth to operate for each device, behind the scenes . We have a hatch sound machine for our kid that operates on WiFi (seriously, why does a sound machine need an app?) but you can only connect to a Hatch on a 2.4ghz WiFi network. I had to log in to the router and uncheck the optimize setting to create separate 2.4 and 5ghz networks so that I could connect to the sound machine and change whatever settings needed to. Not an issue or a knock gains the router, just something to be aware of. Really I don’t think about my router often, which in my opinion is a good thing. I have owned it almost two months now and it has been completely reliable.
Review: Mind blowing performance in all aspects. - This is by far the best wireless router I have owned. Why didn’t I ever go with TP-link before? Signal strength is amazing, all the way to end of the driveway. No dead spots in a two story home 4800sqf including basement. Returned extender bought for the prior purchases. Setup is super easy with Tether App. Didn’t need Tech support so, I can’t really rate that but if it’s anything like their product, I don’t expect disappointment. I was a Netgear royalist but they have really fallen from the top and support is non- existent unless you pay up. Tried several new Asus models due to consumer product testing, reviews and recommendations; that was a burst with poor signal, performance and weak vulnerability security set up options for safeguarding from intrusion. Spend your money wisely; Go big or go home. You get what you pay for. I had to go through 4 routers to finally get here. At almost $200, it seems expensive but I promise, you won’t regret the purchase. I have mine connected to the ISP modem in the basement via a wall plug. On main level, It’s faster than the modem when using wifi on both, crazy!!! I can’t speak to other reviewers disappointment but I am sold to TP and will be a royalist. Love love love this router!!!

**Q: Compared to asus rog rapture gt-ax11000 and netgear nighthawk x10 ad7200, who is better?**
A: Well the Netgear is "old" tech now.  Wireless AD is fast but only operates at super short distances.  15feet or less.  Line of sight.  The Asus has it smoked.  It has more horsepower than the ax6000 but really only because of the triband. Having 3 bands let's them put that big 11000 number in the name instead of 6000. 4800 per 5ghz band, 1200 for the 2.4ghz. The numbers are theoretical.  It really depends what your looking for and willing to spend.  The Asus is triband. Meaning 2.4ghz and 2 5ghz networks. Tplink is dual.  2.4ghz and 1 5ghz network.  They are both going to be comparable in speeds.  The tplink has 8 gig Ethernet ports.  Asus only has 4.  Range should be comparable.  The Asus is more customizable and geared towards gamers.  Tplink is more jack of all trades.  With the 15% back with the prime card, the tp link is about $180 cheaper.  I chose the tplink cause of price and didn't need the triband.  Plus was familiar with the brand having previously owned the ac1750.

**Q: How many devices can this router handle?**
A: I'm running about 50 wireless connection. and 20 ports through 2 switches. with me running Youtube and my wife is playing WEB games  and I'm watching Netflix. Also running Netflix a lot since Covid19, I don't experience any streaming problems. When I mentioned switches I'm running a 24 connection and a 9 connection routers. So multiple connections I have no problemS, On the router you have 8 Ports.

**Q: Other say it Disconnect frequently need to reboot the router but I usually don’t reboot my router will it still disconnect the Device from the route?**
A: I do have it setup to auto reboot once per-month. That time hasn't come yet. I have not had to reboot this router since I got everything setup. Been running fine for 3 weeks. I like it. It doubled our internet download speed and increased the upload by about 1/3. I have not had disconnects of my devices. I have about 70 or so devices connected at all times. Most of these are smart home type things.

**Q: Is there a way to tell how much data individual devices are using with this wifi router?**
A: If you access the QOS section of the web interface (not the tether app), you can see individual device usage.

I wish I had purchased this router years ago . I kept needing to reboot my 20 year old router. Too lazy to look for something better . I thought changing would be a big deal.
