**Q: As soon as my ice cream maker is full it continually roams around the counter what's up with that?**
A: Maybe it wants to scream for ice cream?

**Q: Can I make ice cream using this machine without eggs?, and does the maker come with a recipe book?**
A: I stopped using eggs because for some reason, the ice cream would freeze too hard. I now use: 1 cup cream, 2 cup half-and-half, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 teaspoon vodka (helps the freezing), pinch of salt, pinch of cinnamon. It's great.

**Q: does this make good yogurt?**
A: I make frozen yogurt with this every week, and my recipe is SO easy: 1 quart VANILLA (not plain) yogurt, 1 pkg thawed frozen cherries (or berries of any type). No salt, no sugar, no milk, no nothin' else. Turn it on for 20 minutes and you're done.  Yummy frozen yogurt. Other favorite flavors, always beginning with VANILLA yogurt: 1) coconut and chopped pecans; 2) 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips

**Q: is the mixing paddle supposed to turn?  mine doesn't seem to do that, just the container turns**
A: this thing is the dumbest machine i ever seen. instructions are useless. so if i put the lid on it locks the bowl and nothing turns seems to be by design because there is locks on the lid that lock to base so i take the lid off and bowl turns but the bowl and paddle are BOTH tuning at the same speed so i have a spinning cold bowl that is NOT mixing anything. so mad at this dam thing.

I was pleasantly surprised to love this machine and get professional results! So far we have made fresh strawberry ice cream and matcha ice cream. It's so easy, just mix up the milk, cream, sugar and whatever flavor, chill the mix for a couple of hours, then pour it in the machine while it's running. In 15-20 minutes, you'll have soft serve ice cream that is bursting with freshness! If you prefer the ice cream harder, pack it in a container and put it in the freezer for a couple of hours. I make two batches at once, one to eat now and one to pack away. For the money, this thing is a no brainer: you can control the sugar, the quality of the ingredients, and sky's the limit when it comes to flavors - whatever you can dream up! I also like that the design of the machine is very low-tech. It's an insulated double bowl (pro tip, keep it in the freezer all the time so you can make ice cream on the spur of the moment, otherwise you'll have to wait 16-24 hours for the bowl to freeze) and the only moving part is the cog that turns the bowl. One button: on/off - that's it! Couldn't be easier or turn out a better result.
