I have to say that the colour and material did not disappoint and really made our kitchen 'pop'. The self assembly was ok, you just need to take your time and be careful with aligning screws to avoid any cross threading - also do not use power tools for tightening as they will cause more problems - manual tightening with the provided allen keys only! FYI it took me approximately two hours to complete the assembly of the six stools. Out of all the six stools and multiple screws per unit we had just one cross thread screw so no big deal. The stools are great quality, very comfy (where we sit for long periods chatting and eating around our island!). The seating height is ideal and foot rests also well positioned. So in all I have no complaints. I spent weeks researching various stools from all online providers and retailers such as IKEA, Next, John Lewis etc. and these were one of cheapest which made me slightly nervous with a riskier online purchase of unknown 'cheaper' brand but I have to say these feel a lot more expensive and I am very happy. We have now had these for three months and have no issues with build quality so far!
