I received the BB on Saturday and I had a problem with the bearings fitting onto the fork stem. Emailed Lava on Sunday and 20 minutes later I received a reply which I wasn’t expecting to see so quickly and issue was resolved as they sent me out replacement fork & bearings which they pre-fitted to the fork stem. The replacement parts arrived on the Wednesday. My 2.5 year old boy loves the bike and for £40 including prime delivery I can’t fault it. It is light as a feather so when he does abandon it, it is not a problem to carry. With bearings that fit, it is very easy and quick to assemble. Oh, love the colour too! (Fuji Blue). It is cheap and cheerful and that is all it needs to be for his or hers 1st bike. He absolutely loves it which is great as it saves me an additional £100 if I had went with my preferred bike manufacturer! :-) Review: A very nice first bike- hours of enjoyment. - Received this item within three days of placing the order. It arrived via courier in a box in 5 separate pieces that were easy to assemble with some very simple assembly instructions. All parts in the box are numbered to match the drawings and instruction steps. All tools required to assemble are provided in the box. Once assembled the bike is very vey light weight and simple to carry home (by hand upside down) about when my daughter gets bored at the park. The aluminium frame looks very well constructed and the metallic paintwork (blue in our case) really stands out. Will be buying another for my nephew when he is a little bigger. The seat adjustment is limited at first by the plastic plug on the underside of the seat tube but if that is removed the seat drops a lot further. Very nice first bike. ## Features - Warning:Do not use during thunderstorms. - Warning:Only for domestic use - Develop balance and coordination confidently with the Balance Bike, suitable for kids learning to ride a bike. So simple to assemble and sturdy once complete. My 3.5 year old has the seat on the middle setting so plenty room for adjustment both ways. Paint finish and welds all great standard. Hand grips are great with protectors. Wheels are not pneumatic but that's great as they will last a long time. ## Frequently Bought Together - LAVA SPORT Balance Bike - Lightweight Aluminium Toddler Bike for 2, 3, 4, and 5 Year Old Boys and Girls - No Pedal Bikes for Kids with Adjustable Handlebar and Seat, EVA Tires - Training Bike - Kids Bike Helmet, Adjustable and Multi-Sport, from Toddler to Youth, 3 Sizes --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/299626478-balance-bike-kids-lightweight-aluminum-no-pedal-bike-adjustable-handlebar](https://www.desertcart.us/products/299626478-balance-bike-kids-lightweight-aluminum-no-pedal-bike-adjustable-handlebar) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
