Removing the photocell in this unit would render it non-functional. Not trying to be a jackass, but if all you want to do is control it with a switch, as if it had no photocell, you could cover the photocell with black electrical tape. I realize that is Rube Goldberg hillbilly solution. But I am a retired electrician and full-time hillbilly, and I have had to do some Appalachian engineering on photocell-controlled lights before. And covering the lens with tape will not void the warranty, which altering the wiring will do. **Q: What color is the housing** A: The one we bought was very dark brown. ## Frequently Bought Together - JMKMGL LED Wall Pack Light, 60W Full Cutoff Dusk to Dawn Outdoor Security Lights,5000K 7200lm 200-400W HPS/MH Replacement, Waterproof IP65 Commercial Lighting ETL DLC Listed 5-Year Warranty - FREELICHT 6 Pack Red Exit Signs with Emergency Lights, Two LED Adjustable Head Emergency Exit Light with Battery Backup,Hard Wired,UL Listed, AC 120/277V,Exit Sign Combo for Business - Amptonica Full Cut-Off LED Wall Pack, 70W 8,400LM Replaces 400W HPS/HID, 5000K Outdoor Light IP65 Waterproof --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/299159532-led-wall-pack-light-60w-full-cutoff-dusk-to-dawn](https://www.desertcart.us/products/299159532-led-wall-pack-light-60w-full-cutoff-dusk-to-dawn) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
