Same goes for any tables you might want to set it in. I would also make sure that the base is heavy enough or that you add extra weights. If it is free standing I would reccomend you use the supplied cross based with appropriate weights. **Q: What size parasol holder for a double parasol please** A: 48mm pole but will require a sturdy base holder **Q: How wide is the pole exactly? But the parasol is brilliant! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big and easy to assemble *by M***F on 9 July 2025* Why did you choose this product over others?: It was delivered yesterday, a day early. Easy to assemble, four bolts on the base and it come with a tiny spanner for that purpose. You then screw the pole to the top and then put the whole assembly into the base. The top is a little heavy but I was able to assemble it on my own but two would have made it much easier. For the price I paid, I was not expecting much, but it looks reasonably well made and is really big. The rectangular shape fits better on our patio than a large round parasol. It is so large with such a light weight base that my guess is wind will be an issue, and there is a warning in the instructions about that, so I will also get some weights for the base.
