Review: Solar pump for bird bath - I did not think this would work but it is not a disappointment. It works really well. It calms down in the evening and picks back up in the morning. The birds seem to like it as well. They stand close to the water as it comes down for a shower. Having fun watching the birds.

Happy to have several fountain spray patterns to choose from. Worked immediately. However, cloudy weather prevents me from having full sun operation. It was a good purchase for me. - Things learned from a couple months use: 1. Cleaning - clean the panels with lime away and the whole assembly with mild detergent. 2. Cleaning - There is a filter in the pump cage. Pull it from the bottom, turn it over to expose the opening in the cage and remove/clean the media. Then reassemble. Parts push/pull apart. 3. Placement/performance - Full sun delivers robust push spray. Even partial shade will reduce the volume of spray and/or cause surging.

Must be in direct sunlight for it to work. The solar panel doesn’t work like other solar items (charges up during day and will work through the night. When the fountain is working, it’s really nice to look at. I have to purchase another one because this seems like it’s not working anymore - week 2.
