ABOUT SOG Our story begins in Vietnam, where members of a highly classified US special ops unit - known as MACV-SOG - carried a unique combat knife into the jungle on covert missions. Years later, in 1986, that knife inspired a young designer, named Spencer Frazer, to found SOG Specialty Knives. His mission: to reproduce the original SOG Bowie knife and pay tribute to the special ops unit that created it. What began as a single commemorative model soon became a full line of innovative tools - field-proven by US Special Forces, even honored as the Navy SEAL knife of choice. Today, SOG knives are carried with confidence into the most demanding situations. Forged out of tradition, hardened in the field, honed for you. Review: Beautiful, sharp, NO CASE is included. reversible clip - A professional knife, finally Studies and Operations is stamped not special operations group. Half serrated. Opens quickly, has lock( not traditional liner lock) Its a pricey one, but this if one likes Sog knives ( I like the brand) smooth, thin but handles well. Look at other reviews. Top notch for me. Review: Nice knife...be careful of the belt cutter... - Well, first off, I ordered this on Saturday, and it was here on Monday, which blew me away. Secondly, you'll want to leave the belt clip on the side of the knife on which it comes. After switching my clip to the other side, I quickly learned why they put it on the side it came on. I was trying and trying to push the knife via clip into my front pocket, and it just would not go. I thought the clip was too tight, but that was not the problem. Suddenly, my pocket had a 6 inch cut down the side, and I realized that the belt cutter slot was getting caught on my pants pocket instead of the clip. So, I ruined a pair of my shorts. My fault, but I wish they had not made it where you could switch sides now. Anyway, the knife is excellent. Super sharp, assisted opening works well, and the lock up and lock itself are super tight. I really like the red on black color scheme as well, and the built-in belt cutter is really slick the way they built it into the handle using the blade of the knife instead of a separate razor blade in the handle. One last thing...do NOT forget to lock the blade shut when you close the knife. I forgot once and was messing around with it and the blade lifted slightly out of the handle and stabbed me in the thumb. It's quite sharp. ## Features - BUILT FOR PROFESSIONALS - Trident AT Partially Serrated Folding Knife is a modern update based on the feedback from professional users, made to hold up in the harshest conditions, balancing purposeful design with heavy-duty performance/reliability - MADE FOR PERFORMANCE - Every element of Trident AT folding knife has been developed for extreme or emergency situations - including fast blade open, line cutter, and glass breaker - all seamlessly integrated with a high-grip textured and durable handle - AT-XR LOCK SOG's Technology delivers fast one-handed open and solid lock-up once open; reliable and powerful, able to withstand 1500 pounds of force, AT-XR Lock provides the built-in blade locking security when open and ensures it only opens when intended - SAFETY 2.0 SOG designed to be intuitive and utilize natural hand movements, it means you don't have to break your grip to operate it; once open, it locks in place as a thumb backstop; ambidextrous design ensures fast deployment, even when wearing gloves - CRYO D2 STEEL BLADE - A versatile high-carbon tool steel that is cryogenically heat-treated to SOG's unique performance specifications; D2 provides the ideal combination of edge retention and durability for long term use with ease of maintenance ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08W7C1XFQ | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #83,038 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #225 in Camping Folding Knives | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Brand | SOG | | Brand Name | SOG | | Color | Black/Red | | Customer Package Type | Tamper-evident and cushioned packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 183 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00729857010818 | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Glass Reinforced Nylon | | Included Components | Trident AT - Black + Red - Partially Serrated | | Item Length | 3.75 inches | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Item Type Name | Trident AT - Black + Red - Partially Serrated | | Manufacturer | SOG | | Model Name | 11-12-02-41 | | Model Number | SOG-11-12-02-41 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | SOG-11-12-02-41 | | Power Source | hand_powered | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Camping | | Reusability | Reusable | | Size | One Size | | Special Feature | Foldable | | Special Features | Foldable | | Style | Modern | | Theme | Outdoor Adventure | | UPC | 729857010818 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | SEE MANUFACTURER | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** SOG - **Color:** Black/Red - **Handle Material:** Glass Reinforced Nylon - **Included Components:** Trident AT - Black + Red - Partially Serrated - **Model Name:** 11-12-02-41 - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Camping - **Special Feature:** Foldable - **Style:** Modern ## Images ![SOG Trident at Ambidextrous Professional Partially Serrated Folding Knives | Heat-Treated CRYO D2 Stainless Steel Blade - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51EUSf4YE8L.jpg) ![SOG Trident at Ambidextrous Professional Partially Serrated Folding Knives | Heat-Treated CRYO D2 Stainless Steel Blade - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/514aIqIcnzL.jpg) ![SOG Trident at Ambidextrous Professional Partially Serrated Folding Knives | Heat-Treated CRYO D2 Stainless Steel Blade - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51th9M7D8WL.jpg) ![SOG Trident at Ambidextrous Professional Partially Serrated Folding Knives | Heat-Treated CRYO D2 Stainless Steel Blade - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51fUvQNNGWL.jpg) ![SOG Trident at Ambidextrous Professional Partially Serrated Folding Knives | Heat-Treated CRYO D2 Stainless Steel Blade - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51KF+6KHv4L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful, sharp, NO CASE is included. reversible clip *by R***M on October 2, 2026* A professional knife, finally Studies and Operations is stamped not special operations group. I have worn many hats in my life from Marine, heavy facilities maintenance journeyman and deputy sheriff on the largest S.O. in the nation. Working knives were always a part of my everyday gear. In fact, they still are. Gerber, Case and old Remmington knives are fine knives for your money. I have a few Gerber, Case , Buck and Remmington knives. But my choice is SOG knives as they take the abuse and hard core use I put them through. They hold an edge in spite of me doing tasks that would easily dull lesser knives. I have bought seven SOG Tridents, 5 for gifts, one I lost and the one in my pocket. It still is sharp and as study when I bought it( I have sharpened it a few times. Other than my KaBar fighting knife, that I alway carry in my war-bag, the SOG Trident is my favorite knife. I go for pure function over fashion. I don't need an overpriced Benchmade when my Trident is a proven working knife at 1/3 the cost. ## Frequently Bought Together - SOG Trident at Ambidextrous Professional Partially Serrated Folding Knives | Heat-Treated CRYO D2 Stainless Steel Blade - SOG Countertop Knife Sharpener | Effortless Precision Sharpening for Sog Knives | Ideal for Maintaining Razor-Sharp Edge - SOG Trident at Ambidextrous Professional Straight Folding Knives | Heat-Treated CRYO D2 3.75" Stainless Steel Blade --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/297412327-sog-trident-at-ambidextrous-professional-partially-serrated-folding-knives-heat](https://www.desertcart.us/products/297412327-sog-trident-at-ambidextrous-professional-partially-serrated-folding-knives-heat) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
