Review: Good quality bottle cages - After having a water bottle bounce out of its cage a couple of times on a ride, I needed to replace the plastic cages which did not hold the bottle well enough. These cages keep a good grip on the water bottle. It is a snug fit to slide a bottle into the cage. For extra security, you could also bend the inside bracket in a little which should be just about where the hand grip is on a standard water bottle. The cages are made of good quality and my weld joints appear to be good. These cages come with the proper metric sized screws to fit the cage braze-ons on my bike frame. The package also includes a hex wrench to tighten the nuts. The cage brackets have slots to accommodate various spacing between the braze-ons. They fit with no problem on both the seat tube and down tube.
Review: Highly recommended, especially for the price - This cage grips my 22 oz CamelBak Podium stainless steel bottle very securely with no rattling, even on bumpy dirt roads. Should hold plastic bottles equally well. Cage is durable and it's hard to beat the price. I knew up front that the cage would leave some minor markings on the bottle, but that's inevitable with metal on metal, so no surprise there. I highly recommend, especially for the price.
