It is meant to be washed out with each shampooing. It is a very very fine powder that clings to your own hair strands and settle onto your scalp to make hair seem less thin. After styling my hair I spray lightly with hairspray then dust the top of my hair with it. I find this works best for me. **Q: What colors are available?** A: I got the gray and it works well with my gray/white hair. **Q: How do you use this with the spray applicator?** A: You would take the lid off the canister and screw it into the spray applicator. **Q: Is it a colored powder or does it have a literal texture to it?** A: It is a colored powder. It comes with a shaker top but you can also purchase an atomizer. It looks like a rubber ball with a long tube attached to it. You squeeze down on the rubber ball and it puffs through the tube. Teasing the heck out of it isn't working either. I saw this on a video of Georgia's Hair Solutions and immediately ordered it thru Amazon. And OMGosh! First time using it and it is awesome! I only wash my hair every 2-3 days and it has stayed on AND it does not rub off on my pillow case. Highly Recommend! The only negative is Amazon offers the 15g size and the applicator (sold seperately) does not fit.
