At first it seemed tight, but it was not. I used them on my treadmill on Day 1. I found that I must not keep my feet far enough apart when I run because I smashed my right foot into my left ankle three different times while running, and that really hurt! I'm giving a four-star review because the material of the sole is so very hard, and it hurt me on that first day of running. I've been working out for a week on them, and my feet feel just fine! So far, so good! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super comfy, but squeaky till broken in *by L***R on 25 August 2022* I love these shoes for work…comfy all day long. My only complaint is the soles squeak for quite some time until the shoe is fully broken in. And still, if I do not tie them tight enough, months later, I squeak as I walk through the halls. Not terrible when I’m working the day shift, but at night the squeaking seems so loud.
