My PT used this to work on my leg muscles while I was recovering my strength and range motion. My recovery was very successful. Recently I had a fall and injured my shoulder and both my hands. I was able to observe the treatment I was getting with the Ellipse Pro. I asked a lot of questions about exactly my PT was doing and that was very educational. I began researching by watching "how to videos" and decided to order. The Myofascial Ellipse Pro included an excellent anatomy guide, that specifically informs the reader where you can use the tool and areas to avoid. I have achieved substantal pain relief and gotten back my range of motion. I use this tool for maintain and to quicken my recovery from injury. I also think it helps prevent injuries. We have found it to be effective, and particularly like that you can apply various levels of pressure. It's a great multi-purpose tool for working on various areas of the body and the beveled edge is helpful for getting to deeper layers of soft tissue. The quality is excellent, made of solid medical grade stainless steel which makes it durable and easy to care for. It's not large or cumbersome, making it a convenient tool to both carry around and store. It comes with a zippered case for easy storage between uses. Given that there are multiple edges built into one tool, this releaser offers the benefit of not having to interchange between multiple tools. The price point for a multi-use tool is incredible - half of what other IASTM instruments cost. We are impressed with all aspects of the tool - quality, price, value, and performance.
