I am looking at Leica TA360 adapter and Leica TRI 100 Tripod. please share any experience!** A: There is a PDF on Leica's site that indicates that the offset has to be changed to a negative 2 9/16" if using a D5, D8 or E700i. I have a D8 and it's several steps and you have to remember to change it back. After turning on the unit, press the "FUNS" key and then the key with the point, at the top left of the keyboard, to access "settings". Once there, with the arrow keys you go to the "unit" box and press the red "ON-DIST" key, now pressing the right arrow key 3 times you get to the column of "m" (meters ) and you can choose with the up and down arrow keys, between a decimal place to 4 decimal places.
