**Q: Is it waterproof? I want to attach it to my swim buoy.**
A: No. The back, where the wind chill chart is printed is poster board or some kind of heavy paper. That part is exposed and not waterproof.

**Q: I will be keeping my insulin in an insulated case with gel ice.  Will this work in the case.  I need to know temp of my insulin.**
A: I have had this small temp gage for about 6 weeks .I pin this on my outside jacket pocket and walk 4 miles with it 6 days a week. This is not to expensive but moves around on the outside of my jacket pocket on my walk and still works great.I check it couple times a day and i think if its off maybe only 1 or 2 degrees if that. I am pleased with this temp Gage.
