I still used a blanket inside but when u zip it open n stick ur hand inside u could feel it was keeping heat in. Beware though. The cold makes the plastic super super stiff and if ur too rough with it it will tear. It’s just plastic sewn on the sides so I def got a rip. **Q: Does this work with other strollers?** A: While it might fit around the front and canopy as shown in the picture, the Doona stroller has specific attachment points around the base and behind the canopy for their accessories to hook onto. You might find that while it fits, it doesn't stay in place. I have never tried it with another stroller/carseat. **Q: Can a baby stay in it for an hour or so and breathe ok? Asking because babies cannot wear masks during this pandemic so trying to find alternative** A: My 6 month old was breathing fine when we used this at the airport. The issue however is that it starts getting foggy and then stuffy. It kept baby dry and when it stopped there’s Velcro to open it up so baby can get fresh air. It’s nice also that it fits perfectly with the Doona with its straps. Love it and will continue to use!
