The answer is a solid MAYBE. I was able to see a link light on the adapter and the switch. However, I could find no settings or HW sections to tinkers with the adapter. After some googling, I am gathering that the tablet needs to be rooted which is something mine is not. TLDR: See link lights. Note 10.1 2014 needs to be rooted according to google. **Q: Will it work with Alcatel Joy Tab?** A: I don't know. I'd check the equipment manual to see what jack type your tablet has.
