Previous owner stored it in non optimal conditions and long lived rust began to pit the blades, the bolsters were corroded, poor little knife has had a hard life. I desperately wanted to restore this rare knife to a proper condition and I searched amazon for a product to deal with the rust and I found this product. Its cleaning power is OUTSTANDING. My first treatment of the rust brought 50% off the knife. The second treatment? I used an old toothbrush and gently worked the cleaner into the rusted areas of the knife and poof!!! Rust is gone!! COMPLETELY GONE!! Now I have a rare and beautiful collectible that looks EXACTLY like it did when it left the Boker manufacturing facility.
