I ordered the men's (for my husband) and the woman's version for myself. In comparing the two formulas, I found that they are almost the same. The difference is that the women's has a couple more strains of probiotics.Prebiotics and probiotics are packaged in separate capsules to avoid potential destruction. Capsules are delayed release, allowing the contents to bypass the stomach and release in the small intestine. Capsules contain a significant amount (50 billion) and a good variety.

I was hoping that this would have helped my teenagers sensitivity with foods during his camp but unfortunately, it had a zero effect on him the entire week. While I cannot attest on the medicine itself only that it just was not for us.

We have been giving these to my grandson and I really feel like I've seen a big difference. He has far fewer digestive difficulties (gas, stomach pain, constipation). Probiotics really make sense and have really made a difference in his comfort and ability to focus on school rather than on physical discomforts

My son has combined typed ADHD that he takes medication for. Decided to try this probiotic combo for his tummy issues. First he hated the taste of the capsules which was a problem. Did finally get the capsules in his system and they completely threw his system off. He is unable to go to sleep and is wired wide awake. Something about these capsules affects ADHD in a negative way. Can't recommend at all.

I get pre and probiotics through my normal diet (yogurt, kefir, kimchee, kombucha, etc.) but was intrigued by the dual dose nature of Avira Organics Probiotics for men. Apparently, the prebiotic capsule digests more quickly, and then the probiotics are released later for maximum assimilation. They are easy to swallow and I take them in the morning.Thus far seem to be working. I'm more regular and have fewer gastrointestinal issues than before. My stomach even appears to have slimmed down a bit. The pro-pill has an excellent variety of strains and I appreciate it is all vegan, organic, and non-GMO. Hi,After going to the local medical “walk-in clinic” to have an exceptionally tenacious deer tick I couldn’t reach removed, I was prescribed a powerful antibiotic (Doxycycline) to prevent contracting Lyme disease. While taking this antibiotic twice a day for four weeks has hopefully protected me from developing Lyme, it definitely had a negative impact on my digestive system. Following my month of antibiotics my digestion and regularity were both in a bad place. I needed to address this problem and was looking for a solution. Which brings us to today …While I have long been a fan of plain, low-fat, yogurt, and always add it into my “power smoothies” a few times a week, the probiotics I consumed through yogurt, for whatever reason, didn’t help turn things around. At this point I was ready to try something new and that was this combination package of Dr. Synbio prebiotic/probiotic “organic men’s digestive support blend” supplements. Simply put, in short order, it did the trick for me. After taking these pre/probiotics for a few weeks, I feel that my digestive track is now back to my pre-antibiotics for a month “normal” state.I am confident that adding this combination of Dr. Synbio probiotics to my diet for the last month helped put my gut, and digestion, back on an even keel. For that I am thankful and am happy to offer my recommendation for this product.

My gut is messed up - hasn't been right since a botched colonoscopy ended up with me losing a chunk of my colon and having a temporary ileostomy several years ago. My surgeon recommended the use of probiotics when I was having digestive issues post-surgery.This product contains the strains recommended by my surgeon - specifically the strains of lactobacillus and bifidobacterium. Add to the mix the organic pre-biotics in a separate capsule and it is a great mix that is well designed to help my faulty digestive system. The two pills (one pre-biotic and one pro-biotic) are small and in plant-based gel caps. They are easy to swallow and tasteless.Honestly, because my digestive system is so compromised, I don't know that they work at all, although things are no better and no worse than with the more expensive prescription pro-biotic that my doctor has had me take. What I do know is that they contain the same strains as the prescription probiotic and don't have to be refrigerated (and mixed) like that product.Clearly, the company has done its research and put together the right mix here. The contents are spot on, entirely vegan, and less expensive than what I had been taking.
