Regardless, I was very pleased to receive it. It arrived, folded in a box. And, as other have commented, the mat unfolded without memory of the folds and laid flat on my counter. But the big test was whether it would "stick" to my textured cutting board. I don't know what kind of material it is--some kind of plastic or similar material. It's very large (24" x 18") and velcro'd to the counter. The FrogLilly Mat adhered to my cutting board without a hitch.I purchased another silicone pastry mat. It had a bit of "grab" to it, but it didn't compare to FrogLilly's. It slid on my cutting board. It slid, just a little, but it quickly became an annoyance. I can still use it on other counter surfaces, but the FrogLilly Mat will be my go to mat. It is definitely much better in quality. You can feel the difference. The FrogLilly is thicker, flexible, very durable, and cleaning is a breeze. I also like the reference lines for different sized pizza and pie crusts. It's a little pricier than the others, but it's well worth the extra few dollars for a mainstay in your kitchen.I would definitely recommend the FrogLilly Pastry Mat, especially during the holidays when we're making our baking specialties for our families and friends. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you make pie crust - you need one of these for your counter top *by R***I on July 8, 2016* Great product. I remembered just the other day that my mom used to have a mat for rolling out pastry. I'm so glad I went with this brand for my order. I keep it "stuck" to the side of my fridge as I bake quite often and don't have much storage. It's cute to look at when I walk past. It works beautifully for rolling out pastry. Unlike some of the other brands out there, this one is quite large. It's also flexible so it rolls or folds up for storage quite easily. I've only made pastry using it twice so far but it's so much nicer to work on my counter top with just a thin layer over it rather than a heavy cutting board. A few things to keep in mind - if you have trouble getting it to stick - wipe down your counter with a damp cloth first...then it sticks like a dream. Also, this doesn't work on textured surfaces. It wouldn't stick to my homemade wooden kitchen table so I used my counter top instead. It's quite large so I can see myself using it for pizza crust. I wouldn't use it for anything sticky though...I tried flouring it quite generously and my scones still stuck like glue. Again, I'm testing the limits of it's usefulness. It's a bit of a unitasker but I don't care.
