It is an old framed project, it will not be washed. Will this work?** A: Since I used this paint in a project quite different from the one you describe, I can't give you a definitive answer. However, since the stain you describe is relatively light and the fabric paint is quite thick, I would suggest thinning it slightly with water so that it doesn't cake on the fabric.
