We bought Flora Cat to add live probiotics to their diet. One of the kitties had constipation and irregular bowel movements. I have Flora Cat with photo of cat on bottle and it states for all breeds. It does not indicate on bottom of bottle for canines only. I've been giving to my cats for over a month now with no issues. It has been helping with loose stools. **Q: It says on the packaging that there are about 20 B bacteria at the time of manufacture. Are they still viable/alive after that?** A: At the time of manufacture we actually have more than the 20 billion potency that we claim. This is to account for any die off (approximately 1% per month) through expiration. Temperature, moisture, and time are the 3 variables that affect die off. I only give my 2 cats each 1/8 tsp a day in their wet food.
