I was sure it would work until i realized it does not have high enough frequency to detect baby's heart beat. However, i did hear clearly my heart beat, sounds from my intestines and water moving inside. So don't expect to hear fetal movement. Excellent quality of material. The ear buds were a little uncomfortable if wearing for a long time and the metal turned inward so you have to hold it in place or it will not work properly. (Side note: the head of the doppler sometimes came off.
