Review: Bromine hot tub was yellow and cloudy - I have been using chlorine in our 900litres hot tub but decided to try Bromine on recommendation to avoid chlorine after a refill and cleaning. Never used a shock treatment as testing chlorine levels, pH etc have been fine and water clear and sparkly. After 7 days Water + Bromine became cloudy and eventually yellowy with a slimy feel to the tub walls and floor. Bromine not registering on test strips. (Thought about draining and refilling using chlorine), Added 1 shock treatment recommended dose day one - nothing.
