Professional products like this tend to be pricier than drugstore not only because of higher quality ingredients, but they tend to be more concentrated as they are not diluted with as much water like drugstore shampoos tend to be; ~2 quarter-sized amounts work fine for my long hair. Best shampoo I have been able to find. Says it is for fine hair but it works great on my wavy curly hair that gets weighted down by product which is made for heavy coarse hair.
