After hiring a "handyman" that botched up the install and overcharged me $600 for a full day using duct tape, I had to remove and completely re-do his work because the duct kept detaching. Using this excellent aluminum tape on the ducting and fan, the unit gained at least 30% better flow. I went from opening one window to requiring 2 windows to be open to compensate for the higher air flow. Really happy with this product, it saved my install and it's now done right. This tape has much better adhesion than many others, and since it is much wider it covers much better. ALWAYS REMEMBER: All these metal tapes are EXTREMELY fragile, they tear unbelievably easy. If what you are taping is going to come under ANY stress through movement or whatever, double or triple it for longevity. It will last MUCH longer.
