The color is shiny black, there is no Scheffland branding on the hinge and there is a fork on the end to pull bridge pins. Since these capos are gifts for young children I think those pointy things on the end would be potentially dangerous for them. The only thing that says this is a Scheffland capo is a upc sticker on the back of the package. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Well, it's complicated... *by J***Y on January 18, 2019* First one I received fell apart immediately upon arrival. The rubber pad that clamps against the back of the neck had come unglued. I was planning to just superglue it back on, but the company replaced the item for me. The second one lasted about 18 months of fairly regular use (2-3 sessions a week) before it called it quits. Apparently the round 'hinge' thing that keeps the whole thing together is plastic and prone to breaking with much use.I would consider the product maybe 2 stars for the price and because one of them actually held up for 18 months. I'm throwing in an extra star for them being quick to replace the defective one.
