We had tall drinking glasses previously and added the cocktail style glass recently to the collection. These drinking glasses have held up beautifully in the washer & stayed clear. Zero breaks-my husband has broken more "regular" glasses than anyone I've known in 51 years so that is significant & similar to either a child or bull testing the product. The Manhattan has groves near the glass bottom making it comfortable to grip and they look stylish.
