The Asus is Wifi 6 and supports 160 Mhz, whilst also having a much more capable processor and way better range. I wouldn't even compare the two. The Netgear was made over 10 years ago, it is terrible as a Wifi router for today. **Q: Are the antennas adjustable (vertical, horizontal, diagonal positioning)?** A: They are normal wifi antennas. They hindge and rotate. **Q: Can qos be set at an application level so the kids online gaming can be throttled so adults can work at home without slow downs on video conferencing?** A: I have the asus Rog GT GX11000, with this one you can go into the QOS and put the order in which one you want to give top spot too. It works. **Q: Does this router have to be the main router (dhcp) in order to work or can i have this as a client with aim repeaters to run a aimesh network?** A: It can be run as a Wifi Access Point with the DHCP disabled. In my case I have a different older generation main router that is also the DHCP server and this one extends that network attached to lan cable. ## Frequently Bought Together - ASUS RT-AX3000 Ultra-Fast Dual Band Gigabit Wireless Router - Next Gen WiFi 6, Adaptive QoS, and AiProtection by Trend Micro | 1x WAN, 4x 1G LAN, 1x USB 3.0 - AiMesh Compatible - ARRIS (SB8200) - Cable Modem - Fast DOCSIS 3.1 32x8 Gigabit Cable Modem , Approved for Comcast Xfinity, Cox, Charter Spectrum, & more | 1 Gbps Max Internet Speed, 4 OFDM Channels - ASUS RT-AX1800S Dual Band WiFi 6 Extendable Router, Subscription-Free Network Security, Parental Control, Built-in VPN, AiMesh Compatible, Gaming & Streaming, Smart Home --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/284675179-asus-rog-rapture-gt-axe11000-tri-band-wifi-6e-extendable](https://www.desertcart.us/products/284675179-asus-rog-rapture-gt-axe11000-tri-band-wifi-6e-extendable) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
