Would it then be removable years later?** A: This particular product does not hold a candle to genuine 3M VHB, buy a roll from Grainger if you want to install a license plate bracket. Contact adhesive for carpet installation is better than the roll I purchased from this seller, and I hope Amazon cracks down on these counterfeit S&I products before someone is injured. **Q: will it hold a headliner with the summer heat?** A: I have not applied this tape for headliner, but from my experience of its usage I don’t think it can hold it. You need more sticky stuff than that. **Q: Will this work well for vent visors? Visor is still in good shape just needs new tape.** A: Yes, this tape works great on vent visors for vehicle windows. Just make sure the area is cleaned with rubbing alcohol so it will stick better. I think it is for holding on nameplates on cars and trucks. I think the spec says 30 pounds per square inch of tape but check that for yourself. Five years ago I used it to hold solar panels on the roof of our RV so that I don't have to make holes in the roof. Of course I test it at the start of every season with all the pull I dare apply without breaking the panels. Speeds up to 75 mph and the panels are still there.. . More recently I used it to support the glass panel table top beneath the surrounding steel frame of our patio table. (The original plastic clips had failed and would allow the glass to fall.)
