However: After 50 days, the pump is louder than my ten-year-old refridgerator. After 20:00 run time, the transformer heats up and becomes nearly too hot to touch; that is a fire hazard. The bolt and screw that hold the upright pieces in place are rusting through; they are welded on and cannot be replaced. Someone was very savvy placing a 30 day warranty on this item. I have had similar-sized water fountains that ran all day outside in Florida's summer heat that did not heat up and rattle like this little pump does inside my air conditioned house. Bottom line: don't get stuck with this bad piece of equipment like I did.
