There are two 28" pieces and two 24" pieces that can be combined. The closest to 50" would be one 28" and one 24" piece for 52". The clamp on one end slides so it would accomodate 50" easily. **Q: Will the increased length over 48" create "flex"** A: No, I've used it for multiple cuts at this point and there is absolutely no flex, even over a full 8' span. No budging at all and easy enough to add/remove sections.
