We have used it for years. **PACKAGING: It comes sealed so there is never leakage issues. The bottle and lid are of good quality. **SHAMPOO: Shampoo has a lovely fragrance that isn't over-powering. There are no dyes so it is a clear natural color. The most notable fragrances are lavender and rosemary. My 7 year old is able to wash and rinse her own hair now and never complains about the soap stinging her eyes so I would say it is gentle. Her hair feels clean and is manageable to brush after being toweled dry. My daughter loves the shampoo. My 11 year old son likes it too. **USEFULNESS: It could be a combination of things such as being aware of high risk activities that cause lice and psychological peace-of-mind...but when we use this shampoo, we don't have lice in this house. I went a couple of months without this shampoo for the kids, replacing it with a lavender shampoo and my daughter ended up with lice. Obviously that was traumatic enough for the family. As a part of our eradication procedure we purchased the 32oz bottle of Fairy Tales again. We have not been without it since. My family are faithful users since Summer 2012. **VALUE: I believe the $20ish bucks is a great value for the amount of "servings" in the 32oz bottle. **Q: Am I supposed to use every day?**
A: We use it every day. There have been multiple "lice scares" at school this year and my son has never gotten lice. This may be true true and unrelated but I bought the large bottle and plan to use this throughout his school years (and for camp over the summer). The formulation smells nice but is not overpowering and is gentle on his hair.

**Q: Can I use it for a second grad girl? Does it really help to remove the lices?**
A: It will not remove lice. I use it on my second grader to keep lice away. Apparently they do not like the smell. But the only way I know of to actually remove lice is to shampoo with lice shampoo and comb, comb comb.

**Q: what frequency have u guys found effective for prevention of lice? daily or something else ?**
A: I make my kids (8 & 5.5) use it at once a week, and once a week they also use my "homemade" mixture of Suave Rosemary & Mint with a few drops of added Tea Tree oil.  We got Lice from relatives in March and then we have been re-exposed by them several time (with the relatives still having active lice for 6 months) and with our couple of times a week treatments we stayed lice free.  When I found out our cousins still had it after 6 months, we washed with this daily for a whole week. Also if you know of someone who has it, use the HAIRSPRAY version of this and plaster your kids hair, the live lice DO NOT like "dirty" hair or these natural oils found in Fairy Tale. We will NEVER stop using this product! As a 33 year old woman with very long hair, I also wash with it once a week.

**Q: Is getting the conditioner with the shampoo worth it? What's the point of the conditioner? Will a good conditioner suffice instead?**
A: I don't think you need the conditioner. I would just get my regular conditioner and make sure I washed my hair every other day in the Shampoo
