No additional programming. So far everyone I have been speaking with, says that the audio sounds clear and crisp (even with the A/C or heater on). The recommendation I received was to place the microphone behind the steering wheel. I was skeptical with that placement. So, I tried other crazy placements, and people heard me clear (with no clip distortion) behind the steering wheel. The microphone is a little big and obvious, but I don't mind it. This was installed in a '05 Honda CRV.

I barely bought this microphone, and I have tested it over 10 times. This microphone is compatible with my Kenwood DMX7705S, and it started working quickly. No additional programming. So far everyone I have been speaking with, says that the audio sounds clear and crisp (even with the A/C or heater on). The recommendation I received was to place the microphone behind the steering wheel. I was skeptical with that placement. So, I tried other crazy placements, and people heard me clear (with no clip distortion) behind the steering wheel. The microphone is a little big and obvious, but I don't mind it. This was installed in a '05 Honda CRV.
