Be aware that there are two dowel pins that hold the solenoid in place. It managed to lose both of them. However, they are just there for alignment which the bolts will also do once they are snugged into place. After replacing these gaskets I still had a very tiny leak. After about 10 minutes of running the motor, the leak stopped and it has not returned after over a month. I wonder if the gasket just needed to heat up for a few minutes to completely seal? Either way, this fixed the issue and was vastly cheaper than replacing the entire solenoid, which is Honda's only solution. ### ⭐ Did not work with 2012 Odyssey EX *by F***. on Reviewed in the United States on 14 December 2022* 2012 Odyssey EX.146K. It stopped the leak but created another problem, poor idling and a permanent code no. P3497, check engine light on after it drove fine for few miles. Had to buy OEM front spool valve eventually. There is no way around it. All third party parts will fail 99% as per Odyssey forums ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Be very careful on retorque. *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on 25 December 2021* The gasket solved the leak but the unit failed when we put it back together. As it turns out, the pilot valve assembly is very sensitive to even the slightest over torque and the ECO mode will start acting up. I highly recommend installing the ECO defeat module, reduces oil usage and does not effect gas mileage.
