Each lantern comes with a plastic insert that fits inside the globe. Align the insert to fit and hang. It was very simple to set up and added an instant decorative and lively feeling to the space. The battery pack means you can hang the lanterns anywhere and get a nice warm glow. The stringer in the photo is only one 10 foot section looped over a mirror because it was raining outside when I took this photo. One globe will fit in the palm of your hand so they are about the size of a small orange. These make super gifts and everyone loves them. I highly recommend these lanterns.

The battery pack means you can hang the lanterns anywhere and get a nice warm glow. One globe will fit in the palm of your hand so they are about the size of a small orange. These make super gifts and everyone loves them. I highly recommend these lanterns.

These lights were a bit tedious for me to assemble but once they are, they are quite lovely. They have a timer which makes it easy to have them come on and go off at the same time each evening. They burn for about 6 hours. You can also turn them on and off yourself. I have mine on my deck so I can see them even when I can’t be outside. They have worked perfectly for about a week and even shine brightly during the rain. The globes are water resistant and the battery compartment is well protected from the weather.
