There’s a few bad comments regarding the patchiness/smell etc. In my opinion this is one of the best fake tans I’ve ever used! Ive been wearing fake tan for 10+ years now, I’ve just come off Bondi Sands Ultra Dark for this one. I think it really does depend on the user with how well this tan develops/stays on, also with how it’s actually applied. For me, I leave this tan on overnight (not 4hours!) and once washed off the next day, the colour is gorgeous. It does have orange undertones but it doesn’t look silly. As for the patchiness, sometimes it’s a little patchy on my hands after washing off, but I do think it depends how well you apply it! Use round circular motions when applying and ensure you leave no streaks! I’ve also found this tan doesn’t come off easily, which is both a pro and con, it usually lasts about 8-9 days and is still quite stubborn to scrub off. 10/10

Best tan I've ever had
This is easily the best tan I've ever had. I've never had issues putting it in as I've been using tan for years and got pretty good at the application of it. But I've always had issues how tan has faded on my dry skin. After a day or 2 I always look muddy. However this tan fades so gradually and naturally. It's a literal game changer x

Goes patch after a day
Easy to apply but goes patchy after a day. Rubs off on clothes etc also. I’ve used many tans over the years and this is the worse by far, I tan twice a week normally I will not use this again or recommend

Very dark tan but comes off really patchy
It’s a really dark tan that is easy to apply however it comes off much quicker than other brands and is really patchy some areas come off some are extremely stubborn and take a week. I will be going back to at tropes express mousse. The tanologist water is much better!!!

Not As Dark As I Was Expecting
I have been looking for a self tanning solution for a while and have tried several options so far. This one caught my eye as it was listed as a dark tan so I ordered it in the hope that it would work better than the others that I have tried.I tested this on my arms as I didn't wan't some sort of tango man appearance on my face should it not work as I hoped, lol.The solution is easy to apply from the container, as the button is pressed it comes out like a mousse and is very airy and light. As I spread it onto my arms it didn't take very much of the solution to cover quite a large area and it dried within a few minutes of application.Unfortunately for me I used my bare hands to apply this and even though I washed my hands straight away I was left with all dry skin and scars that are on my manual workers hands looking very dark brown giving the appearance of my hands being dirty, so I do need to find a better way to use this, maybe with a sponge next time, lol.I left the product on my arms for the full four hours and then washed it off as per the instructions but although it had darkened my skin it wasn't as dark as I wanted. The next day I applied another coating of this product but this time I left it a little thicker than before, I then again left it for the full four hours before washing it off. This time it had darkened to the level I wanted but it had a very slight orange shine in the brown. It wasn't as bad as tango man or even Donald Trump, lol but I could see the slightly orange glow.Thankfully after a day or two the orange had calmed down and I was left with a healthy looking tan along with my very dirty looking hands, lol.Good product but takes some practice and best used two days in advance of that big night out.

Universal shade fake tan produces real natural results
I am very fair and have a pale complexion, so I was a bit concerned about how dark the colour of this mousse was when I first sprayed some out.The initial dark tint is actually helpful when applying it, as you can easily see where you have been.I decided to test this product by applying it to my legs.Before I started, I made sure I exfoliated and moisturised my legs as this softens the skin which helps with getting a more even tan.The day before, I did a patch test, conscious of my pale skin I left it on for just one hour. When I checked the next day, the effect was faint. I did not experience any adverse reaction.I, therefore, decided to apply and leave it on for 2 hours. After applying the tan with a mitt, I found It dried to a tacky stage after about 15 minutes but didn’t seem to be completely dry even after the 2 hours.The product page suggests that you can go to bed leaving it on. Personally, I feel care needs to be taken, during this time before showering, not transfer it onto clothes or upholstery.It does not have that tell-tale fake tan smell which is a bonus.After two hours I showered. At first, I was very disappointed with the result as I was still very pale with hardly any change of skin colour. However, by the next morning, I woke up with a very natural-looking light tan on my legs which I was very pleased with. The tan lasted for about a week.It takes a bit of practice to learn how long to leave the mousse on for your skin type, but it is worth the effort.The fact that it comes in just 1 universal shade that suits all skin tones, means no buying the wrong one by mistake. The downside, however, is as there is plenty left, my olive-skinned husband might decide to use some.

Prep skin using Tanologist Eraser & Primer. Moisturise dry areas like hands, elbows, knees & feet. Apply to the skin in sweeping motions from head to toe using a tanning mitt. For face, blend in with tanning mitt or blending brush. Shower off guide colour depending on desired end-result. Wash hands following after application.
