We thought the Dulàc brand seemed better than the popular Boiron Arnicare brand. Only Dulàc utilizes innovative methods, such as ultrasound extraction, to preserve the active ingredients of the plants, ensuring the gel's potency. We used the gel as an anti-inflammatory for muscle and joint tension, along with 100 mg of ibuprofen. It also worked well in minimizing bruising. However, the NSAID combination is not ideal with blood thinner medication. We prefer the gel because it is non-greasy and doesn't stick, while arnica cream is more viscous. This is because the arnica ointment generally has a petroleum jelly base, giving it a slick texture. We like that Dulàc brand is free from mineral oils, silicones, and dyes, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
