They come well packaged in a resealable bag and are very soft to the touch. They have a piece of elastic on the end and a button to fasten this to. My hair is passed my shoulders and quite fine, so it all fits in nicely although I do have to hold my hair over at the end of the towel. You basically just bend so your hair is hanging down, place it over your head making sure your hair is inside then twist and fasten at the back.
